8 European Congres of Mathematics’2021

The 8th European Congress of Mathematics will be held online for the first time. The Executive Committee of the European Mathematical Society and the organizers of the 8th ECM have decided that all lectures, including public, plenary, invited and award lectures, as well as mini-symposia and special sessions, to be held in Portorož, Slovenia on June 20-26, 2021 r., were transferred to the network. 8 ECM was planned on 5-11 July 2020, but due to Covid-19 it was postponed to 2021. ECM is organized every four years; subsequent congresses are held in selected countries under the leadership of the European Mathematical Society (EMS). The first congress took place in 1992 in Paris, in 2012 the 6 ECM was organized in Krakow.
